We think we've found the next Floating Artist in the form of our lightly raced stayer, Kettle Hill purchased from William Haggas in England, with a view to contesting the upcoming Spring riches.
Following Floating Artist's successful Spring campaign, culminating in a Melbourne Cup 4th place, we partnered with Ciaron Maher Racing to secure a horse with a similar profile. Ciaron sees Kettle Hill as a horse capable of going through the city-grades, capitalising on the excellent prizemoney on offer before stepping into better quality races later in the carnival. With Kettle Hill's form being franked through Turn On the Charm's recent Caulfield win (Kettle Hill's last start was to finish 3rd behind Turn On The Charm at Goodwood, England) we think we're onto a good thing as the former trainer William Haggas has also kept a share in the horse!
